I’ve been taking it with breakfast for a few weeks now and I actually notice a steadier energy through my afternoon slump, not jittery like coffee. It’s nice that it’s the fumarate form since that’s supposed to be gentler on the stomach, and that’s held true for me.
About a month in and my post-lunch energy slump is basically gone, even on days I skip my usual carb-heavy meal. The fumarate form goes down easy without any of that weird aftertaste I've gotten from other carnitine supplements.
The fumarate form is easier on my stomach than the tartrate I used to take, which matters since I take it on an empty stomach before fasted cardio. It's been about six weeks and I notice my energy during workouts feels steadier, not jittery, and the fat-burning support is a nice bonus.
